What data sources does GovChime use?
GovChime aggregates data from three primary federal government systems: SAM.gov (System for Award Management) for active contract opportunities and vendor registrations, FPDS (Federal Procurement Data System) for historical contract award data, and USAspending.gov for federal spending analytics. Data is refreshed from these sources every day.
How often is GovChime data updated?
GovChime synchronizes with SAM.gov, FPDS and USAspending.gov every day, and agency and spending figures are recomputed after each sync. Award data follows FPDS publication: Department of Defense contract awards appear about 90 days after signing, so the most recent fiscal year is provisional until they arrive.
