Federal Contracting Leaderboards

About these rankings

Rankings of the entities that move the most federal contract money, built from prime-contract obligations reported to FPDS-NG via USAspending.gov. Rank contractors to see who dominates a market, awarding and funding agencies to see who controls the budget, NAICS industries and product or service codes to size a sector, or states, counties and contract vehicles to understand where the work lands. Each dimension can be measured by total obligated dollars, contract count, or average award size — three views that often disagree, because a vendor holding a handful of very large awards ranks differently from one winning many small ones. Select a fiscal year to compare periods on the federal October-to-September calendar rather than the calendar year. Rankings reflect prime awards only; subcontract dollars are not included and will understate firms that primarily work as subcontractors.
