STATEMENT OF WORK HVAC BLDG 2800 EDWARDS AIR FORCE BASE, CA AAPB: CAEA-1283 PROVIDE ALL LABOR, MATERIAL, EQUIPMENT AND SUPERVISION TO PROVIDE AND INSTALL A NEW HIGH EFFICIENCY HVAC SYSTEM CONSISTING OF THERMAL ENERGY STORAGE (TES) SYSTEM WITH SUFFICIENT THERMAL ENERGY STORAGE FOR ON-PEAK HOURS (1130-1800) FOR BLDG. 2800. THE WORK TO BE ACCOMPLISHED IS AS FOLLOWS: REPAIR CHILLERS BY PROVIDING/ INSTALLING THE NECESSARY HARDWARE/FIRMWARE TO THE CHILLERS PERFORM A COMPLETE MANUFACTURERS OVERHAUL/ ANNUAL MAINTENANCE BY A FACTORY TRAINED TECHNICIAN TO THE EXISTING CHILLERS, PROVIDE A GLYCOL MANAGEMENT SYSTEM AND ADD TES TO THE EXISTING CHILLERS SYSTEM. PROVIDE AND INSTALL NEW FOUNDATION AND BLOCK WALL TO MATCH THE EXISTING ALREADY IN PLACE. PROVIDE AND INSTALL TWO NEW CHILLED WATER PUMPS; MODIFY THE CURRENT CONTROL SYSTEM AT B2800 TO ACCOMMODATE THE NEW TES SYSTEM. PROVIDE AND INSTALL TWO NEW HOT WATER PUMPS. THE PERFORMANCE PERIOD IS 240 CALENDAR DAYS FROM THE TIME THE CONTRACTOR RECEIVES THE OFFICIAL NOTICE TO PROCEED FROM THE CONTRACTING OFFICER S REPRESENTATIVE AT THE EDWARDS RESIDENT OFFICE. CONTRACTOR IS REQUIRED TO USE CURRENT DAVIS BACON WAGE DETERMINATION CA120031. LIQUIDATED DAMAGES ARE $1,060.00 PER DAY.
