Description of requirement

THE CONTRACTOR SHALL PROCURE, DELIVER, PREPARE FOR LOADING, ANALYZE AND PROFILE RADIUM CONTAMINATED DEBRIS AND SOIL FROM THE SITE REMEDIATION EFFORTS PERFORMED BY THE PRIME CONTRACTORS, TETRA-TECH, APTEC (CBI), GILBANE INC., AND OTHER PRIME CONTRACTORS OPERATING AT THE SITE. THE CONTRACTOR WILL ENSURE ALL RADIOLOGICAL WASTE MEETS THE WASTE ACCEPTANCE CRITERIA (WAC) OF THE PROPOSED PROCESSING AND/OR DISPOSAL SITE. THE CONTRACTOR WILL THEN INSPECT, PACKAGE, MARK, LABEL, SAMPLE, MANIFEST, LOAD AND TRANSPORT THE RADIOACTIVE WASTE TO A JMC-APPROVED PROCESSING AND/OR DISPOSAL FACILITY FOR DISPOSITION.
