Description of requirement

MAKE ARRANGEMENTS TO MOBILIZE A C188 HEAVY SINGLE ENGINE AIRCRAFT (CROPDUSTER) AND A C182 MEDIUM SINGLE ENGINE AIRCRAFT AND THE NECESSARY EQUIPMENT AND AIRCREW TO NORMAN, OK. ON FEB. 17, 2004 TO SUPPORT RADAR TARGETING TESTS BEING CONDUCTED BY GROUPS ASSOCIATED WITH THE PMNBC RADAR UMBRELLA PROGRAM. THE AIR OPERATIONS TASK IS TO FLY THE C182 ON DESIGNATED HEADINGS AND ALTITUDES OVER SPECIFIC POINTS TO TEST THE ABILITY OF THE ASR-9 RADAR ALGORITHMS TO IDENTIFY AND TRACK AIRCRAFT AND TO DETECT PARTICULATE EMISSIONS FROM THE AIRCRAFT. THE TASK IS EXPECTED TO TAKE ABOUT ONE WEEK DEPENDENT ON THE WEATHER CONDITIONS. THE LATEST DEMOBILIZATION DATE IS EXPECTED TO BE FEB. 25 BUT MAY BE SOONER IF TEST ARE COMPLETED EARLY. FOLLOWING THE AIR TARGETING TASK DEMOBILIZE THE AIRCRAFT, EQUIPMENTN AND CREW BACK TO MIDWAY AIRPORT.
