Description of requirement

THE PURPOSE OF THIS PROCUREMENT IS TO ORDER SERVICES FOR COS QOS AND MULTICAST PROJECT FOR THE CHIEF INFORMATION OFFICE (CIO) NETWORKING GROUP. THIS IS A TIME AND MATERIALS TYPE CONTRACT EFFORT WITH AN ESTIMATED NOT-TO-EXEED OVERALL CEILING PRICE OF $378,880.00. THE CONTRACTOR SHALL NOT EXCEED THE OVERALL CEILING PRICE OF THE CONTRACT WITHOUT THE PRIOR APPROVAL OF THE CONTRACTING OFFICER. ESTIMATED TRAVEL COSTS FOR THE ENTIRE ORDER SHALL NOT EXCEED $23,000.00. TRAVEL COSTS SHALL BE REIMBURSED BASED ON ACTUAL EXPENSES INCURRED AND IN ACCORDANCE WITH APPLICABLE FEDERAL TRAVEL REGULATIONS (FTR). THE WORK WILL BE PERFORMING IN ACCORDANCE WITH THE STATEMENT OF WORK ENTITLED "STATEMENT OF WORK FOR IT ARCHITECT SUBJECT MATER EXPERT (SME) QOS/COS AND MULTICAST PROJECT", DATED MAY 26, 2009. (SEE ATTACHMENT 1). IN ADDITION, SEE LINE ITEMS BELOW FOR ADDITIONAL INFORMATION. CC-OPS PROPOSAL 080109-04 DATED AUGUST 20, 2009 IS HEREBY INCORPORATED BY REFERENCE. THE PROVISIONS OF THE USDA BLANKET PURCHASE AGREEMENT BPA NUMBER AG-3142-B-08-0004 AND GSA CONTRACT NUMBER GS-35F-0030U ARE APPLICABLE UNDER THE ORDER.
