Description of requirement

EPA'S EMERGENCY RESPONSE PROGRAM UTILIZES LUDLUM INSTRUMENTS ON THE NATIONAL EQUIPMENT LIST. WE ALSO UTILIZE SAFE ENVIRONMENT ENGINEERING VIPER LINCS TO PROVIDE A COMMON DATA TELEMETRY SYSTEM FROM A VARIETY OF ENVIRONMENTAL MONITORING INSTRUMENTS. THIS IS A COMMON DATA TELEMETRY PLATFORM NATIONWIDE. THIS PR REQUESTS SOME OF THE RADIOLOGICAL INSTRUMENTS FROM LUDLUM THAT ARE SUPPORTED BY THE VIPER LINCS. THESE INSTRUMENTS HAVE EXTERNAL RS-232 PORTS THAT CONTINUOUSLY STREAM DATA TO THE VIPER LINCS ALLOWING THE OSCS TO COLLECT GEO-REFERENCED FIELD DATA CONTINUOUSLY.
