Description of requirement

CONTRACTOR SHALL PROVIDE LABOR, MATERIALS AND SUPERVISION FOR THE FOLLOWING: TRIGEN-KANSAS CITY ENERGY CORPORATION/VEOLIA TO PROVIDE AND INSTALL A 4 INCH ELECTRICALLY DRIVEN EMERGENCY STEAM SHUT OFF VALVE AS THE STEAM ENTERS THE BUILDING IN THE SUB-BASEMENT STEAM ENTRY ROOM. TO PROVIDE AND INSTALL A REMOTE SWITCH, FOR THE EMERGENCY STEAM SHUT OFF VALVE, ON THE WALL JUST OUTSIDE THE DOOR TO THAT ROOM. TRIGEN-KANSAS CITY ENERGY CORPORATION/VEOLIA WILL BE INSTALLING A STEAM METER IN THE STEAM ENTRY ROOM AS PART OF THEIR STEAM SERVICE CONTRACT. TRIGEN-KANSAS CITY ENERGY CORPORATION/VEOLIA WILL PROVIDE AND INSTALL A 4 TO 20 MA SIGNAL FROM THEIR METER TO THE BUILDINGS ENERGY MANAGEMENT SYSTEM AND CHEMICAL PUMP STATION AS WELL AS A CHEMICAL INJECTION POINT. LOCATION: SUB-BASEMENT 601 EAST 12TH ST., KCMO 64106.
