FOR BUILDINGS AM941 AND AM942 COMPLETE DEMOLITION AND REMOVAL OF 6,813 AND 2,805 SQUARE FOOT BUILDINGS INCLUDING STRUCTURE AND COMPLETE DEMOLITION AND REMOVAL OF CONCRETE SLABS AND FOUNDATIONS TO 24 INCHES BELOW THE EXISTING GRADE LEVEL. NEW SIDEWALK TO BE ADDED ON LOT, NORTH AND SOUTH AKRON LOCATIONS. REPAVE FOR PARKING. FOR BUILDINGS AM064 AND AM085, COMPLETE DEMOLITION AND REMOVAL OF 2 BUILDINGS TOTALING 7,150 SQUARE FEET INCLUDING STRUCTURE, A 200 SQUARE FOOT STEEL STRUCTURE, PARKING AREA NORTH OF BUILDING M064 AND COMPLETE DEMOLITION AND REMOVAL OF CONCRETE SLABS AND FOUNDATIONS TO 36 INCHES BELOW THE EXISTING GRADE LEVEL. REMOVE EXISTING FENCING AROUND BUILDINGS AFTER DEMOLITION OF BUILDINGS AM064 AND AM085, INSTALL NEW CHAIN LINK FENCING TO SECURE REPAVED PARKING AREA AND DEMOLISHED AREA. FOR BUILDING AM031, COMPLETE DEMOLITION AND REMOVAL OF A 4,885 SQUARE FOOT BUILDING, INCLUDING STRUCTURE AND COMPLETE DEMOLITION AND REMOVAL OF CONCRETE SLAB AND FOUNDATION TO 24 INCHES BELOW THE EXISTING GRADE LEVEL. AFTER DEMOLITION OF BUILDING 031, INSTALL NEW CHAIN LINK FENCING ON THE NORTH SIDE (BACK OF DEMOLISHED BUILDING) LINKING WITH THE EXISTING FENCING BARRIER. FOR BUILDING AM044, COMPLETE DEMOLITION AND REMOVAL OF A 635 SQUARE FOOT BUILDING INCLUDING STRUCTURE AND COMPLETE DEMOLITION AND REMOVAL OF CONCRETE SLAB AND FOUNDATIONS TO 24 INCHES BELOW THE EXISTING GRADE LEVEL. FOR ALL BUILDINGS, DISCONNECTION, DEMOLITION AND REMOVAL OF ALL THE UTILITIES WITHIN THE BUILDINGS INCLUDING ALL UNDERGROUND UTILITIES SERVING THE BUILDINGS AS SHOWN ON THE DRAWINGS. FOLLOWING THE DEMOLITION AND REMOVAL OF STRUCTURES, FOUNDATIONS AND UTILITIES, RE-GRADE THE SITE FOR DRAINAGE, INSTALL COMPACTED AGGREGATE SUB-BASE AND NEW ASPHALT PAVING COVERING THE ENTIRE AREA OF DEMOLITION. MAGNITUDE OF CONSTRUCTION: BETWEEN $100,000 AND $250,000. AN ORGANIZED SITE VISIT HAS BEEN SCHEDULED FOR 9:00 AM, SEPTEMBER 1, 2010. PARTICIPANTS WILL MEET AT AMES RESEARCH CENTER, BUILDING N213, ROOM 105, MOFFETT FIELD, CA.
