Description of requirement

CONSTRUCTION PROJECT NO. LSGA132001 REPAIR WEAPONS RELEASE BUILDING 1020. THE OBJECTIVE OF THIS PROJECT IS TO REPAIR/RENOVATE THE INTERIOR AND EXTERIOR OF THE SINGLE STORY BUILDING. WORK WILL INCLUDE, BUT NOT LIMITED TO THE UPGRADE OF ALL ELECTRICAL, MECHANICAL, LIGHTING, FIRE SUPPRESSION AND DETECTION, HVAC, PLUMBING, SECURITY, AND COMMUNICATION INFRASTRUCTURE SYSTEMS, RECONFIGURATION OF WORK SPACES TO INCLUDE SECURE AND NON-SECURE AREAS, AND REPLACEMENT OF INTERIOR FINISHES, RESURFACING OF EXTERNAL WALLS, REPLACEMENT OF WINDOWS AND DOORS, AND INSTALLATION OF NEW METAL SEAMED ROOF SYSTEM. INSTALLATION OF LIGHTNING PROTECTION SYSTEM AND REMOVAL OF A CONCRETE WALL BETWEEN TWO WORK AREAS WILL BE OPTION ITEMS.
