THE SSPEDI SPS IDIQ CONTRACT WILL PROVIDE SPECIFIC ELEMENTS OF WORK, DEFINED IN DISTINCT TASK ORDERS, IN SUPPORT OF THE DEPARTMENT OF DEFENSE'S (DOD'S) SPACE RAPID CAPABILITIES OFFICE (SPRCO). REQUIREMENTS INCLUDE MANAGEMENT AND EXECUTION OF PROJECTS FOR THE DEVELOPMENT OF SPACECRAFT, PAYLOADS, BUSES, SPACECRAFT SUBSYSTEMS, SOFTWARE, COMPONENTS, AND GROUND SYSTEMS. SPS ALSO INCLUDES SUPPORT FOR THE DEPLOYMENT OF SPACECRAFT AND ANCILLARY SYSTEMS AND PROJECT OPERATIONS BASED ON THE TECHNICAL REQUIREMENTS, SCHEDULE, AND COSTS DEFINED IN EACH SPECIFIC TASK ORDER.
