Description of requirement
I. THIS DONATION AGREEMENT ("AGREEMENT"), ATTACHED HERETO AND INCORPORATED IN THIS UNILATERAL CONTRACT, IS BY AND BETWEEN THE MILWAUKEE COUNTY ZOO ("ZOO") AND THE SMITHSONIAN INSTITUTION ("SI") ON BEHALF OF ITS NATIONAL ZOOLOGICAL PARK ("NZP") FOR THE DONATION OF THE NILE HIPPOPOTAMUS ALSO KNOWN AS "HAPPY THE HIPPO" THAT CURRENTLY RESIDES AT NZP'S ELEPHANT HOUSE. II. PRICE/COST SI SHALL PAY THE ZOO TWO HUNDRED THOUSAND DOLLARS ($200,000.00) TO ASSIST THE ZOO IN ACCELERATING ITS DESIGN AND CONSTRUCTION SCHEDULE TO MEET NZP'S TIME CONSTRAINTS AND HAPPY THE HIPPO HOUSING REQUIREMENTS. III. PERIOD OF PERFORMANCE/TERM THIS AGREEMENT IS EFFECTIVE FROM JUNE 1, 2009 UNTIL FINAL PAYMENT, IF APPLICABLE, IS MADE BY DECEMBER 31, 2009. IV. ATTACHMENTS THE FOLLOWING DOCUMENT IS ATTACHED HERETO AND MADE A PART OF THIS CONTRACT: A. DONATION AGREEMENT EFFECTIVE JUNE 1, 2009.
