Description of requirement
THE PURPOSE OF THIS CONTRACT IS TO ELIMINATE THE EFFECTIVENESS OF INSURGENT IED ATTACKS. THE TECHNICAL SUPPORT WILL COVER SEVERAL AREAS OF JIEDDO OPERATIONS: ADVANCED PROTOTYPING, THEATER ANALYSIS, SYSTEMS DEVELOPMENT, INTEGRATION, DEPLOYMENT, OPERATIONS AND MAINTENANCE. IN ADDITION, THE CONTRACT WILL INCLUDE ENGINEERING (E.G. TELECOMMUNICATIONS, CONFIGURATION MANAGEMENT) AND LOGISTICS (E.G. TO FACILITATE THE TRANSITION OR TRANSFER OF CAPABILITIES BETWEEN DOD / JIEDDO AGENCIES) ACTIVITIES WHICH SUPPORT THE DEVELOPMENT AND MAINTENANCE OF TECHNICAL CAPABILITIES
