Description of requirement

WORLD BANK PROVIDES FINANCIAL AND TECHNICAL ASSISTANCE TO DEVELOPING COUNTRIES FOR DEVELOPMENT PROGRAMS WITH THE STATED GOAL OF REDUCING POVERTY. THE WORLD BANK ENGAGES IN RELATED ECONOMIC RESEARCH AND ANALYSIS, AND PUBLISHES THEIR DATA AND ANALYSIS. UNDER THIS CONTRACT, WORLD BANK OFFICE OF THE PUBLISHER WILL PROVIDE ACCESS TO FOUR DIFFERENT ELECTRONIC RESOURCES: E-LIBRARY, WORLD DEVELOPMENT INDICATORS (WDI) ONLINE, GLOBAL DEVELOPMENT FINANCE (GDF) ONLINE AND GLOBAL ECONOMIC MONITOR (GEM). THE WORLD BANK E-LIBRARY MAKES THEIR PUBLICATIONS AND RESEARCH WORKING PAPERS AVAILABLE ONLINE AND FULLY SEARCHABLE. WDI ONLINE PRESENTS A DATASET OF 800 DEVELOPMENT INDICATORS WITH TIME SERIES FOR OVER 200 COUNTRIES AND 18 COUNTRY GROUPS. GDF ONLINE CONTAINS STATISTICAL DATA FOR THE 134 COUNTRIES THAT REPORT PUBLIC AND PUBLICLY-GUARANTEED DEBT TO THE WORLD BANK REPORTING SYSTEM. GEM, UPDATED DAILY, PROVIDES ANALYSIS OF CURRENT ECONOMIC TRENDS, ECONOMIC AND FINANCIAL DATA INDICATORS, AND AN EXTENSIVE STATISTICAL DATABASE.
