Description of requirement

THE CONTRACTOR SHALL SUPPLY BERYLLIUM COPPER AND TOUGH-MET MATERIALS. IT SHOULD PROVIDE SPECIALIZED METAL STOCK MATERIAL FOR USE IN SEALING ULTRA-HIGH HYDRAULIC PRESSURE FOR FATIGUE TESTING OF CANNON, ARTILLERY, AND MORTAR COMPONENTS. MATERIALS TO BE PROCURED CONCERNING THIS FUNCTION INCLUDE MULTIPLE GRADES OF BERYLLIUM COPPER AND TOUGH-MET MATERIAL. THESE MATERIALS MUST BE COMPATIBLE WITH ROYCO808, ETHYLENE-GLYCOL, PROPYLENE-GLYCOL, WATER, AND MULTIPLE WEIGHTS OF DTE HYDRAULIC OIL. THE CAPABILITY OF THESE MATERIALS NEEDS TO BE ABLE TO PROVIDE PROPER STATIC AND DYNAMIC SEALING FROM LOW PRESSURE OF 100 POUNDS PER SQUARE INCH UP TO OVER 100,000 POUNDS PER SQUARE INCH IN A CYCLIC OR FATIGUE SCENARIO.
