Description of requirement
THIS IS AN AGREEMENT BETWEEN THE GOVERNMENT AND THE CONTRACTOR TO PROVIDE OFF-POST CONFINEMENT SERVICES FOR PRE-TRIAL AND POST-TRIAL MILITARY PRISONERS IN ACCORDANCE WITH THE ATTACHED PERFORMANCE WORK STATEMENT (PWS) FOR THE DIRECTORATE OF EMERGENCY SERVICES (DES), LAW ENFORCEMENT DIVISION, FORT LEWIS, WASHINGTON. THE PROVOST MARSHAL OF THE LAW ENFORCEMENT DIVISION, THE CONFINEMENT OFFICER OF THE FORT LEWIS REGIONAL CORRECTIONS FACILITY, AND/OR COMMANDER, 42TH MILITARY POLICE BRIGADE (I/R) (OR DESIGNATED REPRESENTATIVE) WILL PROVIDE PRACTICAL, TECHNICAL GUIDANCE TO THE CONTRACTOR, BUT WILL NOT SERVE IN A SUPERVISORY CAPACITY. THE CONTRACTOR SHALL PERFORM INDEPENDENTLY WITHIN ESTABLISHED ARMY GUIDELINES AND REGULATIONS AND KEEP THE PROVOST MARSHAL ADVISED REGARDING WORKLOAD, STATUS, CONCERNS AND ISSUES WHICH MAY ARISE. THE GOVERNMENT RESERVES THE RIGHT TO CANCEL MEETINGS AND SERVICES AT ANY TIME.
