76--Airborne Data

The U.S. Geological Survey (USGS), National Geospatial Programs Office (NGPO), through the National Geospatial Technical Operations Center (NGTOC) has a requirement for the purchase of a broad range of commercially available existing airborne data and related derived products, which includes black and white analog and digital imagery; color analog and digital imagery; digital orthophoto; multispectral, hyperspectral, RADAR, IFSAR, LIDAR, and digital video. The intent is to make multiple awards under an Indefinite Delivery-Indefinite Quantity type contract. In addition to USGS offices, orders may also be placed by other Federal agencies and DoD through the USGS Contracting Office located in Denver, Colorado. Contract includes a base year plus two 12-month option periods. This requirement is not set-aside. It is anticipated that a copy of the solicitation will be posted electronically and available for downloading on or about November 13, 2007 with proposals due on or about December 14, 2007. Offerors shall be required to submit both a technical and cost proposal for evaluation. See Numbered Note 12.
