Sandstone Aggregate Delivered Buskirk-Hickory Knob

DESCRIPTION The U.S. Forest Service, Monongahela National Forest, is advertising of 2,260 tons of sandstone surfacing aggregate delivered to Forest Service Road 719A Buskirk-Hickory Knob Rd approximately 5 miles north of White Sulphur Springs, off WV 92 in Greenbrier County WV. The contractor will furnish all materials, equipment, tools, and transportation necessary for delivery. This solicitation is issued as a request for quotation (RFQ). This is a commercial item prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6, stream-lined solicitation for commercial items, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. The Forest Service contemplates award of a firm-fixed-price contract as a result of this combined synopsis/solicitation. Award will be made using Simplified Acquisition Procedures, therefore the evaluation procedures at FAR 13.106-2 will be used. BASIS OF AWARD A firm-fixed price award will be made to the responsible offeror submitting the quotation that provides the best value to the Government. Best value will be determined by using the trade-off process as listed in FAR Part 13. In determining best value, the following factors will be considered: 1) Price, 2) Experience/capability; 3) Past Performance, 4) Current commercial pesticide applicators license for the state of West Virginia to supervise the project. Each offer/quotation shall contain sufficient information to enable a thorough evaluation. Vendors must be registered in System for Award Management (SAM) prior to being awarded a government contract.
