The Department of the Interiors (DOI) Interior Business Center (IBC) Acquisition Division (AQD) conducted an assisted acquisition on behalf of NAVSEA Program Executive Office (PEO) Integrated Warfare Systems (IWS). PEO IWS has a need for contractor-operated and contractor-maintained helicopter flight services to support the Test and Evaluation (T&E) of the Aegis Combat System and other integrated Electronic Warfare (EW) systems currently aboard US Navy ships, as well as other land-based systems. Flight services are intended to provide transportation of cargo and government and contractor personnel in support of military offshore requirements. The Government may require the contractor to install or remove special-use equipment on aircraft, prepare aircraft for mobilization to a forward operating base, repair Government Furnished Equipment (GFE), or purchase additional component equipment for use in the performance of the resultant contract. The Government awarded a five-year Indefinite Delivery/Indefinite Quantity contract, inclusive of a 12-month Base Year and four options for 12-month Ordering Periods. All task orders will be firm fixed priced (FFP). FFP Task Order 140D0420F0446 was awarded for the EU services with a 12-month Base Year and four 12-month options and to meet the minimum ordering requirements.
