Irrigation Services for CVCA Phase 10

Notice of Intent to Sole Source Irrigation Services for CVCA Phase 10 *The purpose of this amendment is to change the intended award from a purchase order for a one-year base with two one-year option periods to a three-year Indefinite Delivery/Indefinite Quantity (IDIQ).* This solicitation is being advertised as a noncompetitive sole source solicitation. As provided under FAR 13.106-1(b)(1), this project will be solicited on a noncompetitive basis as "Only one source is reasonably available to satisfy the agency's requirements". The Bureau of Reclamation, Lower Colorado Regional Office, Boulder City, Nevada, intends to award, on a sole source basis, a three-year IDIQ to Red River Farms, located in Blythe, CA. The Bureau of Reclamation has a requirement for Red River Farms to provide irrigation water, to the Cibola Valley Conservation Area (CVCA) Phase 10 as they are the sole owner of the pump and irrigation supply in the specified area. A Determination to Solicit Sole Source has been prepared and approved in support of this acquisition. This procurement will be awarded using simplified acquisition procedures. It is anticipated that a firm-fixed price purchase order will be awarded no later than January, 12, 2018. Questions and other documents maybe submitted to Kelli Greene via e-mail to kgreene@usbr.gov.
