Buddhist Religious Support Services

The Federal Bureau of Prisons, Federal Detention Center located in SeaTac, Washington intends to issue a solicitation for Buddhist Religious Support Services. This requirement has been established to support comprehensive religious programs within the facility's Religious Services Department. All services will be accomplished to support the Religious Service Department's religious program goals and objectives. The work schedule will normally consist of three (3) sessions per week with a maximum of six (6) sessions per week, a session being defined as one hour. The particular day and hours of work will be Thursdays from 12:00 PM to 3:00 PM, but days and times maybe subject to change based on the needs of the institution. This acquisition is not restricted as to business size. All responsible sources are encouraged to submit a written offer which will be considered for award. Faith-Based and Community-Based Organizations have the right to submit offers equally with other organizations for contracts for which they are eligible. Any contractor or individual interested in obtaining a contract award with the Federal Bureau of Prisons must be registered with the System for Award Management (SAM) at https://www.sam.gov/. Each offeror is required to complete their representations and certifications at the SAM website. This solicitation shall result in a firm-fixed indefinite delivery / requirements type contract with the use of options years. The intended contract shall be for a base period of approximately twelve months from the effective date of award, with four - 12 month option year renewal periods based on continued need. The award will be made to the responsible offer that conforms to each aspect of the solicitation, and which is most advantageous to the government, price and other factors considered (FAR 52.212-2). The solicitation is expected to be available on or after March 13, 2018, with a due date of March 23, 2018, 1:00PM Pacific Time. The cutoff date for any questions will be 7 days prior to the due date. Quotes are to be emailed to SET/Contracting@bop.gov in PDF format and will be deemed received at the time received as indicated on the email notification. Please do not submit quotes to any location other than the ones listed above. Quotes received after the quote deadline will be handled in accordance with FAR 52.212-1(f). Faxed quotes will not be accepted. The solicitation will be distributed solely through the General Services Administration's Federal Business Opportunities web site http://www.fbo.gov/. Hard copies of the solicitation document will not be available. The site provides downloading instructions.
