Jig Grinders Sole Source Justification and Approval

DLA Aviation intends to issue a request for quote (RFQ) in accordance with FAR 12 and 15. This is notice of the Governments intent to issue a firm-fixed price contract under the authority of 10 U.S.C. 2304(c)(1) and implemented by FAR 6.302-1(a)(2)(ii)(A), Only one responsible source and no other supplies or services will satisfy agency requirements and clauses in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 48 CFR 12.603. The award shall be based on lowest price technically acceptable (LPTA) evaluation criteria. Description of requirements: Three high precision Computer Numerically Controlled (CNC) Jig-Grinding machines in accordance with Technical Specification VIBB 23-30-1329 dated 5 March 2024. Period of Performance shall be 210 days after receipt of order. FOB Destination, Inspection will be at Origin, and Acceptance at Destination. Destination is Fleet Readiness Center East, Cherry Point, North Carolina. The complete technical data package VIBB 23-30-1329 including machine, Foundation, Removal of Existing Equipment, IUID Tags, Shipping, and Installation requirements will be included as a part of the solicitation.
