The United States Patent and Trademark Office (USPTO) has a requirement for Power Whip L6-30R Receptacles manufactured by Iron Box Networking Solutions. The USPTO intends to negotiate and award a contract to Iron Box Networking Solutions for Power Whip L6-30R Receptacles, 30A, 250V, 3-Wire, 10 AWG THHN, minimum 8 foot tails (NAICS 423610, Electrical apparatus and equipment, wiring supplies, and related equipment merchant wholesalers) with an estimated value of $17,620.00. The anticipated award date is May 15, 2016. Iron Box Networking Solutions is the only known source for the Power Whip. As a result of USPTO's exemption from the Competition in Contracting Act, the subject requirement is being procured using the Alternative Competition Method in accordance with the Patent and Trademark Office Acquisition Guidelines (PTAG) and the Patent and Trademark Office Efficiency Act, 35 U.S.C. 2(b)(4)(A).
