Purpose / Description of Event This program supports Detachment 88 in strengthening its capacity to conduct structured and effective interviews with former Jemaah Islamiyah (JI) members and other persons of interest. The Interview Fundamentals component provides Idensos personnel with practical interviewing techniques to improve their confidence, consistency, and effectiveness in the field. The program will also facilitate synchronization among Detachment 88 officers, section heads, and Idensos personnel to establish a common understanding of the tasks, capabilities, and objectives of the interviewing function. The synchronization will address communication and coordination challenges between open-source and closed-source intelligence functions, including the respective roles, responsibilities, and authorities of personnel involved.
