V225--Ambulance Services

This procurement is for Ambulance Services in accordance with FAR 13.5 Simplified Procedures for Certain Commercial Items and specifically FAR 13.501 Special Documentation Requirements, where acquisitions conducted under Simplified Acquisition Procedures are exempt from the requirements of FAR Part 6, but still require a justification using the format of FAR 6.303-2. Ambulance Services are provided at the VA New York Harbor Healthcare System (Brooklyn, NY and St. Albans, NY campuses, identified as the southern tier). This sole-source justification supports the award of a firm-fixed-price Requirements Contract (and subsequent task order) with Richmond County Ambulance Service Inc., effective 9/01/2021.
