S--De-Icing Services

This is a Pre-solicitation notice. This Pre-solicitation notice is not a request for formal proposals or quotes. The Veterans Health Administration (VHA), Richmond VA Medical Center (VAMC) located at 1201 Broad Rock Boulevard, Richmond, VA 23249 will be soliciting quotes for De-Icing Services. The contractor shall provide all labor, material, supplies, management and supervision necessary to perform pre-treatment and de-icing/chemical treatment services of identified roads and parking lots (total area size of 2,746,264 square feet) in accordance with the terms and conditions of the contract. A request for Quote (RFQ) 36C24619Q0643 will be issued on or about June 11, 2019. The Government intends to award a firm-fixed price contract in accordance with all terms, conditions, provisions, and specifications of the solicitation. The estimated period of performance is October 01, 2019 through September 30, 2023 (or contract award date to 1 year from contract award date) as ordering period one (1), with three (3) one (1) year ordering periods. The solicitation will provide instructions to contractors about the quote submission process. This acquisition is unrestricted. The applicable NAICS Code is 561790 with a size standard of $7.5 Million. In accordance with FAR 52.204-7, System for Award Management, prospective contractors must be registered in System for Award Management (SAM) to be eligible for award; contractors may obtain SAM information at https://www.sam.gov. The applicable NAICS Code is 561790 Other Services to Buildings and Dwellings with a Small Business Size Standard of $7.5 million. The classification code is S218 Snow Removal/Salt Service.
