R--Lab Taxi Services

The Department of Veterans Affairs Medical Center Network Contracting Office (NCO) 6 has a requirement for STAT/EMERGENCY Lab Courier Services. The Contractor shall provide all transportation, material hardware and parts, tools, specialized equipment, labor, supervision and technical expertise to complete the services. The solicitation shall be conducted in accordance with FAR Part 12 and FAR Part 13. Place of Performance: The Lab Courier Services will be provided between the Charles George VA Medical Center (VAMC) and Mission St. Joseph Memorial Hospital: Charles George VA Medical Center 1100 Tunnel Road Asheville, NC 28805 Mission Hospital: St. Joseph Campus - 428 Biltmore Ave, Asheville, NC 28801 Period of Performance: Period of Performance for the resultant contract will be a one (1) year base period and four (4) one year option renewal periods, with a base year starting October 1, 2019 September 30, 2020 in strict accordance with all schedules, specifications, terms, and conditions and provisions of the contract solicitation. Type of Set-Aside: This acquisition is a 100 % Small Business (SB) set-aside. The applicable NAICS is 492110, Couriers and Express Delivery Services with a Size Standard of 1,500 employees. Contract Type: The Government intends to award a Firm Fixed Price Requirements Contract in accordance with all terms, conditions, provisions, and specifications of the solicitation. A formal Request for Quote (RFQ) will be issued on or about August 30, 2019 via Federal Business Opportunities (FedBizOpps) website via https://www.fbo.gov/. All potential offerors are responsible for monitoring and downloading all documents including amendments at the FedBizOpps website without further notification from the Contracting Officer.
