Description
The qualified diagnostic medical physicist(s) shall perform an evaluation of the operation of all G.V. (Sonny) Montgomery VAMC x-ray or imaging devices including CT (Computed Tomography) units, gamma cameras, MRI (Magnetic Resonance Imaging) units, rad/fluoro rooms, c-arms, portable x-ray devices, fixed specialty units, shielding design, and CR (Computed Radiography) readers using appropriate radiation measuring devices and phantoms. The contractor shall present a written report on each x-ray device identifying the x-ray device by serial number as well as the functional parameters of the x-ray device. See PWS for more details.
