Fire Panel Maintenance and Service for Sector Delaware Bay AOR

Archived on May 6, 2026. Original response deadline: . Full description on SAM.gov.

Description

Q: For the pricing of Fire Panel Maintenance and Service for Sector Delaware Bay AOR 37050PR26FIREPANEL, it says CLINs ending in 4: Emergency Service Calls. Not to Exceed (NTE) $5,000 annually. Do you want $5,000 to be included in the pricing at each location every year for emergency service? Since you have 9 locations, that would add $45,000 to each year's pricing, in addition to the costs of quarterly, semiannual, and annual services. Or is this a task order that will be added to the contract if that work should arise?

A: The $5,000 annually for Emergency Service Calls is a separate line to cover any emergency costs at any of the 9 locations. The total cost of that CLIN will only be $5,000.

Update: An error in the Statement of Work presented this solicitation as a "base plus four year" request, while the stated period of performance only runs from July 1, 2026 through June 30, 2027. All proposals submitted after from April 29th through the new deadline of May 6, 2026 need only to show pricing for one year. Solicitation deadline is being adjusted to allow vendors who have already submitted proposals to adjust for the one year requirement.

Q: What are the prevailing wages for the solicitation Fire Panel Maintenance and Service for Sector Delaware Bay AOR 37050PR26FIREPANEL?

A: The wage determinations for each location have now been posted in the attachments. Please review for the latest information update and adjust accordingly.

Q: In the solicitation documents for Fire Panel Maintenance and Service for Sector Delaware Bay AOR 37050PR26FIREPANEL, there is a section about submitting a bid guarantee, but the amount is blank.

"(c) The amount of the bid guarantee shall be ______ percent of the bid price or $________, whichever is less."

Since this was left blank, is there no need to submit a bid bond with the proposal?

A: No, there is no need to submit a bid bond with this proposal.

The work consists of providing all labor, equipment, material, transportation, and supervision as required to conduct quarterly, semi-annual, and annual inspections on all fire suppression systems according to Local, State, and NFPA guidelines and regulations. Areas of concern will span across multiple locations in Philadelphia, PA; Atlantic City, NJ; Ocean City, NJ; Point Pleasant Beach, NJ;Sea Isle City, NJ; Barnegat Light, NJ; Millville, NJ; Rehoboth Beach, DE; and Lewes, DE.  Interested vendors may use the "Sector AOR Fire Panel SOW" attachment where POC's for each location are provided to schedule site visits to gain a clarity of the needs of each location. Offerers shall include individual estimates for costs for each location for clear budgeting purposes and transparency of costs relevant to each units needs.

More time has been allotted to permit interested vendors to conduct site visits to each location prior to bidding. Updated SF-1442 has been attached and FAR Clauses for consideration.
