The attached initial DRAFT Performance Work Statement (PWS) is issued by the EPA to give the industry/interested parties the opportunity to review the Draft PWS and provide feedback and comments. The Draft PWS that is attached, establishes the EPA’s Office of Chemical Safety and Pollution Prevention (OCSPP) and the Office of Pollution Prevention and Toxics (OPPT) performance requirements and tasks necessary to provide technical, regulatory, logistical, and advisory support for EPA’s activities under the following statutes and programs:
1. Toxic Substances Control Act (TSCA)
2. Pollution Prevention Act (PPA)
3. Section 313 of the Emergency Planning and Community Right-to-Know Act (EPCRA)
4. Residential Lead-Based Paint Hazard Reduction Act of 1992 (TSCA Title X)
5. Cross-cutting support across all OPPT Programs and TSCA Sections
6. Other statutes and programs requiring similar contractual support
We are seeking industry, government, and stakeholder comments, questions, and suggestions to assist in developing a final PWS for formal solicitation purposes. The DRAFT PWS is available via both Sam.gov (Official Governmentwide Point of Entry) and FedConnect.net. This notice is NOT A REQUEST FOR PROPOSALS and in no way obligates the Government to award any contract.
