99--Bombardier Challenger 601 MSG-3 Maintenance Program Conversion

The Federal Aviation Administration (FAA), Mike Monroney Aeronautical Center, intends to award a single-source purchase order to Bombardier Aviation Services, Wichita, Kansas, for provision of the Challenger 601 MSG-3 Maintenance Program Conversion. This program is for computerized maintenance recording of all required maintenance on the the Bombardier Challenger CL601 aircraft. This procurement is considered to be single-source based on the requirement of use of the vendor's proprietary software for the CL601 aircraft. Purpose of Announcement: In accordance with the FAA Acquisition Management System (AMS) Policy 3.2.2.4, the purpose of this announcement is to inform industry of the basis of the FAA's decision to contract with a selected source via single-source procedures.
