Synopsis for Protective Security Officers (PSO) Services State of Colorado Contract: 70RFPW19DW8000001 The US Department of Homeland Security (DHS), Cybersecurity and Infrastructure Security Agency (CISA), Federal Protective Service (FPS) has acquired armed Protective Security Officer (PSO) services contract in the State of Colorado. The armed PSOs will protect federal personnel and property at federally owned and leased buildings. The Contractor shall provide all labor, material, management, supervision, training, licenses, and permits to provide the services in accordance with the Statement of Work (SOW). The Period of Performance is for a one-year base period with four one-year option periods. The contract was issued as an Indefinite Delivery, Indefinite Quantity (IDIQ) type contract as defined in FAR 16.504. This acquisition was solicited on an unrestricted basis. Task orders will be issued as a firm fixed price. The source selection process utilized for this acquisition was best value/trade-off. The technical, non-price factors, when combined, were more important than price. Estimated PSO hours for Colorado are 1,950,000 for the 5-year period.
