This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for a commercial item prepared in accordance with the format outlined in FAR Subpart 12.6, FAC 2025-05 (Oct 1, 2025) and as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation. Quotations are being requested, and a written solicitation will not be issued. The NAICS code for this solicitation is 334419 and the business size standard is 700. The resultant purchase order will be awarded using simplified acquisition procedures in accordance with FAR 13.106 apply. The U.S. Coast Guard intends to award on an all or none basis to a responsible offeror whose offer conforming to the solicitation will be the most advantageous to the Government. Award will be lowest price technically acceptable. The Coast Guard intends to award a Firm Fixed Price Contract. All responsible sources may submit a quotation, which if timely received, shall be considered by the Agency. Companies must have valid DUNS numbers and be registered with SYSTEMS FOR AWARD MANAGEMENT (www.sam.gov) and shall provide the company Tax Information Number (TIN) with their offer. Sources sought to provide the government with the OFB-2072-A1 Image Intensifier Assembly (NSN: 5855-01-712-2987), for the U.S. Military. The Government requires an estimated quantity of 2,300 OFB-2072-A1 Image Intensifier Tubes (NSN: 5855-01-712-2987) over a 5-year period. This is not a solicitation. This is only an estimate and will not bind the contractor or the Government in any way or at any time into a contract with any of the specified terms below. Suppliers capable of supplying these items, in accordance with the government data package and in the quantities specified above, should contact the government before September 24, 2026. This notice serves as a pre-solicitation synopsis for the N0038326PR0R812 The repair of this item is sole source to Mercury Mission Systems LLC, CAGE 0AZ36. Mercury is the Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM) the repair data for these requirements and is the only known source to possess full repair capability. Complete data, drawings and the rights to the same are not available from the Government. Even though these items are sole source to Mercury Mission Systems LLC, all responsible sources may submit a capability statement, proposal or quotation, which shall be considered by the agency.
