Bleacher Rental And Setup for Academy Commencement Ceremony

The Department of Homeland Security, United States Coast Guard, Shore Infrastructure Logistics Center (SILC), Base Support Services (BSS) has a requirement for providing Bleacher Rental and Setup which includes all labor, supplies, materials, equipment, transportation and supervision to furnish, assemble, disassemble and remove portable bleacher systems for the US Coast Guard Academy Commencement Ceremonies, New London, CT. The contractor shall temporarily increase the seating capacity of the of the USCG Academy’s Cadet Memorial Field from its existing 2500 capacity to as large as approximately 5000 seats using a combination of the existing and rented bleacher systems. The contractor shall provide a seamless and transparent interface of the rented bleacher system and permanently installed bleacher system. The ability to interchange rented bench seating with upgraded flip-up/tip-up 20 inch seating and/or removal to accommodate wheelchair access will be required. The Coast Guard Academy Commencement Ceremony is typically scheduled for the 3rd Wednesday in the month of May. The performance period will be a Base Year with Four Option Years, if exercised by the Government beginning 01 February 2019 through 31 January 2020. This Request for Quote (RFQ) is 100% Small Business Set-Aside. The applicable NAICS Code is 238290 (Other Building Finishing Contractors) with a size standard of $15M. The RFQ shall be available on or about 19 October 2019 by accessing www.fedBizOpps.gov. No paper copies of the solicitation will be distributed. Amendments to the RFQ will also be provided on the internet using the same protocol listed above.
