Treasury Complex Electrical Switchgear Maintenance and Testing

This is a combined synopsis/solicitation request for quote (RFQ) for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; quotes are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. The solicitation number RFQ No. A15075 is issued as a Request for Quotation, under simplified acquisition procedures. The North American Industry Classification System Code is 221118 and the size standard in number of employees is 250. The requirement is to perform preventive maintenance inspection and testing of high voltage switchgear located in the Main Treasury (MT) Building and the Treasury Annex Building. This requirement will consist of one short base year with four one-year option periods. See the attached solicitation document for description and requirements. This proposed requirement shall be in conformance with and meet the requirements of the statement of work, GSA Guidelines for Electrical Maintenance and Testing and the Standards for Institute of Electrical and Electronic Engineers (IEEE). All responsible sources may submit a RFQ, which, if timely received, shall be considered by the Government. Any quote accepted by the Government that results in a contractual acceptance by the bidder shall ensure delivery of the described items. As a result of analyzing responses to this synopsis of intent, the Contracting Officer (CO) may issue a contract and no additional synopsis will be published.
