This Sources Sought is issued solely for information and planning purposes to conduct market research and determine the availability and capability of qualified sources prior to determining the appropriate acquisition strategy. The Government is seeking to identify responsible vendors capable of providing Blood Bank Reagents, used to perform patient manual blood typing and serum antibody detection and identification to be used in the Transfusion Medicine Unit, Pathology and Laboratory Medicine Services at VANTHCS. II. Description of Requirement Transfusion Medicine Unit, Pathology and Laboratory Medicine Services (P&LMS) at the VA North Texas Health Care System (VANTHCS), Dallas, TX is seeking blood reagents used to perform patient manual blood typing and serum antibody detection and identification testing used for cross matching blood for transfusions. The contemplated purchase includes, at a minimum: The Contractor shall provide reagent supplies as requested by VANTHCS staff to perform blood bank manual blood typing and serum antibody detection and identification testing used for cross matching blood for transfusions. The reagents shall be delivered at the time specified when the order is placed. The Contractor will furnish appropriate containers for shipment of the reagents. Vendor must be approved by the FDA and shall provide documentation of approval. Vendor must have a defined Quality plan, and Adequate supplies available. IV.
