Janitorial Services

The United States Department of Agriculture (USDA) Forest Service, National Forests in Mississippi, is soliciting proposals for indefinite delivery-indefinite quantity contract for Janitorial Services. This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in FAR Subpart 12 in conjunction with FAR 13, as applicable and as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. The solicitation number is AG-447U-S-13-0003 and is issued as a request for proposal. The solicitation documents incorporates provisions and clauses in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular FAC 2005-61. This requirement is a Total Small Business set-aside. The associated North American Industrial Classification System (NAICS) code for this procurement is 561720 with a small business size standard of $16.5 Million in average annual receipts. The contractor shall provide all the labor, supervision, transportation, equipment, material and supplies necessary to perform Janitorial Services on the Chickasawhay and Homochitto Ranger Districts. Work consists of tasks and related subtasks that includes sweeping, mopping, dusting, spot cleaning, carpet vacuuming, window washing and trash removal in accordance with the performance standards. This request for proposals will result in a firm fixed price, performance-based, indefinite delivery - indefinite quantity contract for a basic performance period from the date of award through September 30, 2013, plus four (4) one-year option periods. Offerors can provide offers on one or both districts. Submission of an offer for the basic contract period constitutes an offer to perform in the option period, if exercised. Award will be made based on the lowest price technically acceptable. No copies of solicitations will be mailed. Interested vendors should register to receive email notifications through this site. All offerors who submit a proposal for this project must be registered in the Systems for Award Management (SAM) Registration data base and must have completed Online Representations and Certifications (ORCA) in accordance with FAR 52.204-8.
