Equine Blood Testing

The United States Department of Agriculture (USDA), Animal Plant Health Inspection Service (APHIS), Animal Care Division (AC), has a requirement for equine blood testing. The AC program is seeking assistance in providing the sampling supply equipment and analyzing blood samples taken from horses competing at horse shows regulated under the Horse Protection Act (HPA). The Contractor shall furnish all management, supervision, qualified personnel, supplies, and equipment necessary to provide the services in accordance with the requirements specified in the solicitation. A firm fixed price indefinite delivery indefinite quantity commercial services and supply contract is anticipated for this requirement. The anticipated effective period of the contract shall be on or about August 18, 2013, or sooner if practicable. The contract will include a base year with the option to extend the contract for an additional four (4) years. The solicitation, AG-6395-S-13-0115, will be released at www.fedbizopps.gov on or about July 17, 2013. After release, one may download a copy of the solicitation at www.fedbizopps.gov. NOTIFICATIONS WILL NOT BE SENT TO CONTRACTORS REGARDING THE ISSUANCE OF THE SOLICITATION NOR ANY OF ITS AMENDMENTS. IT IS THE CONTRACTOR'S RESPONSIBILITY TO CHECK THIS WEB SITE PERIODICALLY FOR AMENDMENTS. Quotes shall be submitted to the contracting activity by the date and time indicated in the request for quotes.
