U -- Dental Services Requirement

Subject: CASS Job Corp Center, Ozark, AR. Dental Services Requirement Description of Requirement: The CASS Job Corps Center has a requirement for Dental Services for its students. This requirement is advertised in accordance with the Acquisition of Commercial Items, Federal Acquisition Regulations (FAR) Part 12. Prior to award the contractor must be registered in the Central Contractor Registration Database located at http://www.ccr.gov. Both the Dentist and the Dental Hygienist/Assistant must submit proof of certification, licensing or accreditation in the State of Arkansas with any quote. Other state licensure can be considered with appropriate documentation. All other requirements are included in the solicitation, which shall be posted on the FEDBIZOPPS website for downloading. Additional Information: The applicable Contracting Office for this action will be the U.S. Forest Service, Region 2, 740 Simms St, Golden Co. 80401 Contracting Officer is Lincoln S. Capstick III, who can be contact via e-mail at lcapstick@fs.fed.us Set-aside Status, This acquisition is a total 100% set aside for small business The NAICS code for this project is 621210 and the small business size standard is $6.5 million.The Government expects to enter into a Firm Fixed Price contract for a base year with 4 option years. A contract may be awarded with or without discussions resulting from the solicitation to the responsible offeror whose proposal conforms to the solicitation that will be most advantageous to the Government, price and other factors as outlined in the solicitation considered. A Request for Quotes (RFQ) will be issued by this office to meet this requirement. We anticipate the solicition to be issued on or about March 6, 2008 however this date may change and we invite all interested parties to check frequently for a possible change to this date. All responsible sources may submit a bid, proposal, or quotation which shall be considered by the agency. It is anticipated that award may be issued on or about May 23, 2008.
