Freight Services for Interagency Fire Cache

The USFS Rocky Mountain Region has a requirement for Exclusive Use of Freight Services for delivery of supplies and equipment. This requirement is in support of all-hazardous emergencies, as well as fire and pre-suppression activities at various locations within the western United States. Services may be required within the Continental United States and Alaska as directed by the National Interagency Incident Support Cache located at the Rocky Mountain Interagency Fire Cache. This acquisition will result in the award of Multiple Indefinite-Delivery/Indefinite Quantity (IDIQ) Firm-Fixed Price (FFP) contracts. The contractor(s) shall service the following cache location: Lakewood, Colorado. Competition will be limited to Contractors/Contractor Facilities with availability of tractor and trailers and with dispatching capabilities within a 60 mile radius of the offered Cache (Lakewood, CO). The volume, destination, and scheduling of the deliveries will vary and be determined by the needs of the emergency activity. Delivery and pickup may also be off paved roads where travel would be on gravel or dirt FS/BLM/State or County roads. The NAICS Code is 484121: General Freight Trucking, Long-Distance, Truckload. The Government reserves the right to not make awards from this solicitation based on lack of responsible vendor response and/or adequate competition to fulfill the Government's requirements. The solicitation and applicable documents will be uploaded to this site on or around Dec 16, 2015. The solicitation will be available only through the Federal Business Opportunities website www.fbo.gov. All Offerors shall be registered in the System for Award Management (SAM) at www.sam.gov in accordance to FAR 52.204-7. A Pre-Work Conference will be scheduled at the Rocky Mountain Interagency Fire Cache located at the Denver Federal Center in Lakewood, CO. The conference date and time will be coordinated with the awardees.
