This announcement constitutes the only solicitation. Offers are being requested, and a separate written solicitation will not be issued. Solicitation number W912BU26BA030 is issued as an Invitation for Bid (IFB) for a new self-propelled tugboat for the Army Corps of Engineers, Chicago District, for use in support of its various missions. This acquisition is set aside for small business concerns. This solicitation incorporates provisions and clauses by reference. Bid guarantee, payment, and performance bonding are required. The principal dimensions of the vessel are: Molded Length Overall 80 ft 0 in; Molded Beam Overall 28 ft 0 in; Molded Depth (at Amidships) 12 ft 0 in; Design Draft 9ft 5 in; Air Draft (from 7 ft 0in draft) 36 ft 11 3/4 in. The inspection/acceptance and delivery are FOB destination 750 calendar days after award. The Contractor shall deliver the vessel afloat and ready for service at the following location: U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, 124 N. Main St, Kewaunee, WI 54216.
