HELICOPTER FLIGHT SERVICES IN SUPPORT OF NPS AT RENTON, OLYMPIA, SEATTLE, WA. Solicitation D13PS00220 provides for on-call helicopter flight services fully contractor operated and maintained in support of the National Park Service search and rescue operations (to include short haul) at Mt. Rainier National Park Ranger Station, Pierce County, Washington. Interagency fire or fire related activities are included. The Government guarantees a minimum of 70 flight hours per active contract year. The contract period will be June 1, 2013 through May 31, 2014 with a government unilateral option for up to four additional years. The Contractor shall possess a current Federal Aviation Administration, Air Carrier or Operating Certificate and be certified under 14 CFR, Part 133 Rotorcraft External Load Operations. The anticipated issue date of the solicitation is April 24, 2013. It is a requirement that any successful awardee must be registered in the System for Award Management (SAM) prior to award being made. The solicitation will also be available at amd.nbc.gov under Current Solicitations under Business Opportunities. This solicitation is set aside for small business concerns.
