Miscellaneous Facility Construction IDIQ

Western Area Power Administration (Western) , Rocky Mountain Region (RMR), headquartered at 5555 East Crossroads Boulevard, Loveland, Colorado, requires miscellaneous general construction, alteration and repair of its facilities located predominantly in the states of Colorado and Wyoming, but may also include Nebraska, Utah, New Mexico, Montana, and Arizona. This will be a firm-fixed priced Indefinite Delivery - Indefinite Quantity (IDIQ) contract. There will not be any high voltage electrical work accomplished under this contract. The resultant contract will have a 12-month base period with four 12-month option periods. The minimum guarantee is $20,000. The contract ceiling is $9 million. The estimated order of magnitude of the first task to be awarded with the initial contract award is between $250,000 and $500,000. Subsequent task orders will vary in size and complexity. This is a Competitive 8(a) procurement restricted to qualified/eligible 8(a) firms with a bona fide place of business in Colorado or Wyoming. The applicable North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code for this acquisition is 236220 with a small business size standard of $33.5 Million. It is anticipated that a multiple-award contract will result from the solicitation. The successful contractor(s) will be selected using Performance-Price Tradeoff procedures.
