V -- Vehicle towing, storage, maintenance and disposal for the District of Alaska

The United States Marshals Service (USMS) has a requirement for towing, storage, maintenance, and disposal of seized / forfeited vehicles in the District of Alaska. The vehicles will include production-seized cars, trucks, vans, motorcycles, etc. It is the intent of the USMS to award a commercial item contract using Simplified Acquisition Procedures with a contract term consisting of a base year with four one-year options for a total of five years. This solicitation is Set-aside for Hubzone Small Business. It is anticipated that Solicitation No.DJMS-08-Q-0011 will be issued on or before December 11, 2007. The estimated response date will be January 25, 2008. The solicitation will be available through the Federal Business Opportunities (FedBizOpps) web-site: www.fbo.gov. The FedBizOpps web site provides downloading instructions. Future information about this acquisition, including solicitation amendments, will also be distributed through the FedBizOpps site.
