Simplified Acuiqistion - Culvert Repairs in Colorado National Monument

The Federal Highway Administration (FHWA), Central Federal Lands Division (CFL) has a requirement for spot repairs, wall construction and culvert placement on Rim Rock Drive located in Mesa County, Colorado. This project specifically will consist of culvert repair including rock removal, temporary works, placement of minor concrete, culvert pipes, reinforced concrete wall, and stone masonry (culvert at mile marker 6.1) in Colorado National Monument west of Grand Junction, CO. A written solicitation, DTFH6817Q00003 will be advertised as a small-business set aside and will be awarded as a firm fixed-price contract. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code is 237310. Price magnitude is from $80,000 to $150,000. Davis Bacon Wage Rates will apply. This will be a sealed-bid procurement using Simplified Acquisition procedures under FAR Part 13. The Government will award a contract resulting from the solicitation to the responsive/responsible low bid offeror whose response conforms to the solicitation. The Request for Quotes (RFQ) will be issued on or about January 24, 2017 at this website; www.fedbizopps.gov. Proposals in response to this RFQ are due on or about February 16. All interested vendors must be registered in the System for Award Management (www.SAM.gov) prior to opening of bids.
