Northern Lights Generator and Installation

The National Marine Fisheries Service (NMFS), Northeast Fisheries Science Center (NEFSC), Woods Hole, MA is soliciting quotes for the removal and replacement of an existing generator with a Northern Lights M20CRW3 20kW Generator, on board the NOAA R/V Gloria Michelle. This is a Brand Name only requirement. The proposed award is 100% set aside for small business concerns. The NAICS code is 333611 with a size standard of 1000 employees. All responsible small businesses may submit an offer, which will be considered. The solicitation will be available on or about January 18, 2017, in accordance with Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) Subpart 13 via the Federal Business Opportunities (FedBizOpps) website http://www.fbo.gov. The solicitation number is EE133-F-17-RQ-0147; hard copies of the RFQ will not be issued. It is incumbent upon the contractors to monitor the FedBizOpps site for the solicitation release and all subsequent amendments. The anticipated award date will be on or about September 4, 2016. This acquisition will be awarded as a firm -fixed price order under Simplified Acquisition Procedures. All responsible sources may submit a quote which shall be considered by the agency. Firms offering a response to this notice shall ensure that they are registered in the System for Award Management (SAM), www.sam.gov, prior to submission of proposals. All vendors doing business with the Government are required to be registered with the SAM. NO award shall be made unless the vendor is registered in SAM.
