The Government reserves the right to cancel this solicitation, either before or after the closing date. In the event the Government cancels this solicitation, the Government has no obligation to reimburse an offeror for any costs. The 97th Contracting Squadron, Altus Air Force Base, Oklahoma, intends to issue a Request for Quote (RFQ) for acquisition of a Pensky Martens Flashpoint Tester at Altus AFB, Oklahoma. This is a brand name or equal requirement. The preferred product is "Herzog OptiFlash® Pensky Martens Flashpoint Tester", optioned to meet the salient characteristics outlined in Attachment 1 - Flashpoint Tester Salient Characteristics; but a product that meets the salient characteristics in Attachment 1 - Flashpoint Tester Salient Characteristics, could also be considered technically acceptable. To ensure warranty coverage remains valid, please submit documentation verifying your status as an authorized distributor. Offerors are further advised that failure to register in the DoD SAM prior to submission of proposal will render your firm ineligible for award. Registration requires applicants to have a UEI number. Recommend registering immediately in order to be eligible for timely award.
