Description
Tyndall AFB requires hardware and software maintenance and support services for existing Spectralogic Spectra Stack T-200 Tape Library systems currently in operation.
Services shall include, at a minimum:
- 24/7/365 technical support (phone and web portal access)
- Preventive and corrective maintenance
- Troubleshooting, repair, and system restoration
- Firmware and software updates/upgrades
- Next Business Day (NBD) parts replacement and on-site support
- Access to proprietary diagnostic tools, technical data, and system updates necessary to maintain full operational capability
The requirement supports mission-critical data storage systems and must ensure continued system reliability, compatibility, and performance.
The anticipated contract will include a base period of one (1) year with four (4) option years.
The applicable North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code is 334112
This requirement is being considered for a sole source award to Spectra Logic Corporation, the original equipment manufacturer (OEM), due to the proprietary nature of the system and the requirement for OEM-level access to software, firmware, and diagnostic tools necessary to perform the required services. This requirement is anticipated to be awarded on or about 15 May 2026.

The 46th Test Squadron/TGBC (46TS) requires expert technical services to provide sustaining maintenance, essential upgrades, and comprehensive support for the FGDS System.
