84 -- Running Suits

This is a pre-solicitation notice for the acquisition of manufacturing approximately 1250 running suits plus fill-in orders in accordance with United States Air Force Academy Purchse Description USAFA PD 184, dated 21 Nov 2006. This will be an indefinete delivery requirement type contract for one base (date of award through 30 Sep 08) year and three option (1 Oct 08 ? 30 Sep 11) years. The evaluation criteria is based on performance passt trade-off (PPT) and price. Past performance is significantly more important than price. This acquisition will be conducted IAW FAR Part 12 and 15. The running suits must be manufactured in accordance with the Buy American Act and Balance Payments Program DFARS 252.225-7001 and the Berry Amendment, DFARS 252.225-7012. Requet for proposal (RFP) will lbe available on or about 13 February 2008. The RFP Closing will be on or about 23 February 2008. The RFP will be made available electronically on www.fedbizopps.gov. The North American Industry Classification System Code is 315211 and the size s tandard is 500 employees. This acquisition is 100% HUB Zone small business set-aside.
