Z -- Partitioning and Miscellaneous Repairs - Birmingham AL & Surrounding Areas

This contract will be a Firm Fixed Price. The purpose of this solicitation is to select a contractor to perform partitioning and miscellaneous repairs for the Birmingham Alabama Service Center. Projects awarded from this contract will range from $2,000 to $500,0000. The contractor will provide all labor, material, supplies, transportation, equipment, and supervision to complete the projects. Trades required are carpenter, plumbers, electricians, laborers, and painters. These and other trades are identified in the Davis Bacon Wage Determinations in the solicitation. Reference the solicitation document issued on January 10, 2008 for a final listing of any requirments outside of partitioning and miscellaneous repairs such as asbestos abatement that may be included in the final solicitation. The minimum guarantee is $2,500. The maximum order limitation is $500,000 for the base year. The contract includes a Base and Two Option Periods. Bonding requirements will be outlined in the solicitation and Payment Bonds are required for each delivery order over $25,000. NAICS CODE is 236220. Size Standard is $31.0 Million.
